Bold Shelf is a done-for-you Shopify listing service and is a part of Bold Scene Co. By placing an order or starting a Monthly Maker Desk plan, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your information.

Bold Shelf provides done-for-you Shopify product listing and catalog setup based on the information supplied by the customer. Each package covers the number of product listings purchased, plus any add-ons selected at checkout.

Every new listing includes a concise, professionally formatted Standard Product Description created from customer-supplied product facts, reviewed by a real person for accuracy against those facts, consistency, and presentation. Listings are delivered as Shopify drafts for your approval before publishing. Standard Descriptions do not require Full Copy Help.

New listings also include basic image optimization and descriptive photo alt text. We prepare supplied photos for Shopify display, resize or compress when needed without unnecessarily reducing quality, preserve original proportions, select and organize main and supporting images using your preferences, and check presentation consistency. Alt text describes visible product details using supplied information, without unsupported claims or keyword stuffing.

Customers must provide usable photos ready for upload apart from basic resizing, compression, and organization. Standard service does not include product research, comprehensive writing or substantial rewriting, photography, background removal, advanced retouching, color correction, image generation, extensive image editing, major catalog restructuring, new collection strategy, unlimited revisions, new listings beyond the purchased allowance, or work outside the purchased scope.

Complex catalogs, unusual product structures, or work outside the standard Bold Shelf scope may need custom pricing.

• Additional Product Listings: priced per product at the rate for your package (Shopify Listing Test Run $20.00 each, up to 2; Listing Starter $18.00 each, up to 5; Catalog Growth $16.00 each, up to 10; Catalog Expansion $14.00 each, up to 15). Bulk Catalog, Catalog Cleanup, and Seasonal Drop Setup do not include extra listings; larger projects are quoted separately.
• Additional Variants: priced per variant as shown at checkout.
• Description Polish: improves an existing description’s grammar, clarity, sentence structure, readability, flow, and presentation while preserving its original meaning and brand voice. It does not include complete rewrites or extensive storytelling, and does not add turnaround time.
• Full Copy Help: more comprehensive writing or substantial rewriting, with customized wording, stronger brand voice, and product storytelling using customer-supplied information. It is optional because Standard Descriptions are included. It is priced per product based on the total listings in your order; orders over 50 products are quoted separately. It may add time to your turnaround, which is shown at checkout.

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Every order total is calculated by Bold Shelf's server; the amount charged by Stripe matches the total shown at checkout.

Shopify Listing Test Run: 5 product listings, $99.00; Listing Starter: 12 product listings, $225.00; Catalog Growth: 25 product listings, $450.00; Catalog Expansion: 50 product listings, $850.00; Bulk Catalog: Up to 100 product listings, $1,600.00.

A Service Fee of 3% of the order subtotal (after any discount), with a $5.00 minimum, is added to one-time orders. The Service Fee is not a tax.

Bold Shelf services are currently treated as nontaxable, and no sales tax is added at checkout.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your order is confirmed only after Stripe confirms your payment.

Estimated turnaround times are shown for each package and at checkout. Turnaround begins once all required product information, finished images, instructions, and Shopify collaborator access have been received. We’ll confirm within 1 business day that your project is ready to begin.

For Seasonal Drop Setup, please send all materials at least 7 business days before your launch date.

For project and revision deadlines, business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and U.S. federal holidays.

Monthly Maker Desk plans are month-to-month subscriptions that require a Bold Shelf account. Current plans: Starter Desk $99.00/month for 5 new product listings; Studio Desk $249.00/month for 15 new product listings; Market Desk $399.00/month for 25 new product listings.

To join, you must have purchased and completed a one-time product-listing package, including the Test Run. Free Listing Previews, Catalog Cleanup, and Seasonal Drop Setup do not qualify. Existing subscribers keep their access.

• Your first payment covers the first month. Your plan renews automatically each month at the plan price until cancelled.
• Your monthly listings are added after each monthly payment is confirmed by Stripe.
• Unused monthly listings roll over to the next month, up to one month's allowance. Rollover listings are used first and expire at the end of the following billing period.
• Listings can only be used while your plan is active. If a payment fails, your plan may be marked past due until your payment is updated.
• To change or cancel your plan, email us. Cancelling stops future monthly charges. Payments already made are covered by the final payment policy below.

All monthly plans include Standard Product Descriptions, basic image optimization and photo alt text for new listings, and real-person review.

Each plan includes 2 monthly product change-request submissions, separate from the new listing allowance. Each consolidated submission may contain multiple types of standard changes across multiple existing products, with no numerical product or edit limit.

• Eligible changes: price and inventory; photo replacements using customer-provided ready-to-use images; minor factual description and product detail updates such as materials, dimensions, scents, ingredients, and quantities; tags, categories, and existing collection assignments; seasonal availability; and basic SEO fields.
• Excluded: extensive description rewrites or polishing, image editing or retouching, product research, new product listing creation through change requests, and additional creative revisions to finalized descriptions.
• Customers must supply all replacement information and ready-to-use images. Unused change-request submissions expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over. The separate listing-credit rollover policy above is unchanged.

Larger or more extensive change requests may require additional processing time depending on the volume and complexity of the updates.

A Monthly Listing Checkup is included at no additional charge for new listings and existing products worked on by Bold Shelf during the current billing month. It reviews titles and formatting consistency, description completeness and basic accuracy against supplied information, image placement and alt text, missing or incomplete product details, basic SEO field completeness, and collection/category consistency where applicable. It is a basic quality review, not a full-store audit, advanced SEO analysis, or sales performance evaluation.

We’ll contact you if missing information or outstanding issues found during the Monthly Listing Checkup need your attention.

Errors resulting from Bold Shelf’s own work are corrected without consuming a monthly change-request submission. Customer-requested changes to previously approved work follow the existing revision and monthly change-request policies.

You can create a Bold Shelf account with your email or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity on your account.

A free listing request is a one-product sample. It is not a purchase and does not create an obligation for you or for Bold Shelf to complete a paid project.

You are responsible for providing the information and access we need to complete your project. Depending on the project, this can include:

• Accurate product information
• Finished product images
• Completed product spreadsheet
• Project Intake submission
• Shopify store access
• Variant information
• SKUs
• Prices
• Inventory information
• Existing collection information
• Applicable project instructions

We need appropriate access to your Shopify store to create your listings, normally through Shopify collaborator access. Sharing your collaborator request code lets us request access; it does not grant access automatically. You approve the request and can remove our access when the work is done. Never send us your Shopify password or two-step verification codes. See Shopify access instructions.

Bold Shelf's project timeline begins only after all required product information, finished images, instructions, and Shopify access have been received. Customer delays in providing required information or access may delay the project. Customer delays do not automatically create a right to a cancellation or refund.

A project is considered completed when Bold Shelf marks the project Completed after the purchased Shopify work and final quality check have been performed. The completion date is used to determine the 7-business-day revision request window.

You are responsible for reviewing completed work promptly, including product information, pricing, SKUs, variants, descriptions, images, collections, and other relevant listing information. You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the product information and claims you provide to Bold Shelf.

Bold Shelf's quality check and included revision do not constitute independent verification of product specifications, ingredients, claims, legal compliance, regulatory compliance, or other customer-supplied information.

Each eligible Bold Shelf project includes one consolidated revision unless the specific service or offer states otherwise. You must submit the complete revision request within 7 business days of the project's completion date. All requested changes must be submitted together as one consolidated revision request and must relate to the products and services included in the original order.

Once the included revision is exhausted, the description is finalized. Monthly customers may still request minor factual updates to finalized descriptions under the monthly change-request rules; polishing, substantial rewrites, and additional creative revisions are not included in those requests.

The included revision may cover reasonable corrections or adjustments within the original project scope, such as:

• Correcting information that was entered incorrectly
• Reasonable formatting adjustments
• Correcting an upload or setup error made by Bold Shelf
• Reasonable adjustments to work Bold Shelf completed as part of the purchased service

The included revision does not include:

• New products or additional product listings
• Additional variants not included in the original order
• New copywriting or Full Copy Help that was not purchased
• Substantial rewrites or a new creative direction
• New photography or image editing
• Independent product research
• Adding information, specifications, or claims that were not supplied with the original project
• Major collection or catalog restructuring not included in the original service
• Theme development or custom code
• Other work outside the scope of the original order

Approved in-scope revision requests are generally completed within 5–7 business days after Bold Shelf receives the complete consolidated revision request. The revision turnaround begins only after Bold Shelf has received all information needed to complete the requested changes. If additional information or clarification is required from you, the revision turnaround does not begin until that information is received.

Revision requests submitted after the 7-business-day revision window are not included in the original project and may require a new order or additional fee.

Unused revisions have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another project, cannot be exchanged for additional listings or services, and expire at the end of the applicable revision-request window.

If requested work falls outside the purchased scope, Bold Shelf may provide an additional quote. We will contact you first, explain the additional scope, and provide pricing if applicable. We never complete or charge for additional paid work without your approval.

All payments are final. Because Bold Shelf reserves project capacity and provides a customized service, orders are not eligible for cancellation or refund after purchase. Please review your package, product count, add-ons, and project requirements carefully before submitting payment.

A customer's failure or decision not to provide the product information, images, Shopify access, or other materials required to complete the project does not automatically make the purchase eligible for cancellation or refund.

Dissatisfaction based on personal preference does not automatically qualify an order for a refund when the services provided are consistent with the purchased package and the information and instructions supplied by the customer.

Refunds are not provided for changing your mind after purchasing, deciding not to proceed, not submitting the Project Intake, not providing product information, finished images, or required Shopify access, no longer needing the service, requesting work outside the purchased scope, or wanting additional revisions beyond what was purchased.

Any exception to this policy is determined by Bold Shelf on a case-by-case basis where required or appropriate, including where required by applicable law.

We do not create or manage Shopify listings for firearms, ammunition, weapons, pornography, sexually explicit content, or products or content we determine are inappropriate for our business. We review each order before work begins and reserve the right to decline projects outside our service scope or business standards. If we decline your order before work begins, we will notify you by email and refund that order in full.

Orders placed with a promotional code are subject to these same Terms & Conditions.
